Welcome to the website for the West Texas Medical Reserve Corps!

One of our major goals this year is to increase our active/participating membership. If you are viewing this website for the first time and are interested in membership, please click on the membership application. If you are a current member, please check out the calendar and updated links for more information. You are urged to  check the website at least monthly for new upcoming events and news. 

Our website is still under development, so any suggestions about what you would like to see on the site are welcome. What do you want to see on the site? Recent months have been busy for the advisory committee, as we have worked hard to revise our structure to make it more effective. We are still working on updating documents and creating new ones. These documents will be on the website once completed.

During the next year, I am asking our members to actively participate in MRC activities in at least one of the two areas:  Response and Public Health/Education. You may, of course, elect to participate in both of the areas. Many of you are involved already in community activities which we need to know about to enhance our visibility—please let us know about your activities and opportunities for MRC participation.
