à   Document participation at orientation meeting via sign-in sheets for recruitment status purpose

                          

Tier 1

à   Complete, sign and submit all application forms

 

à   Pass background screening

 

à   Acceptance into the West Texas MRC

 

à   Tier 1 requirements must be completed within 3 months of MRC acceptance

à   Completion of Tier 1

 

à   Tier requirements must be completed within 1 year of Tier 1 completion.

 

Or

 

à   After completion of Tier 2, the MRC volunteer may wish to stop advancing to the next Tier(s). However, the MRC volunteer may only respond at limited capacity and/or which their professional expertise allows them to do so.

 

à   CPR by American Heart Association or American Red Cross (Classroom or Proof of current CPR Card)

 

à   Protecting Against Bloodborne Pathogens (Course ID 1017850)  

 

à   IS-800.B National Response Framework, An Introduction (Course ID 1011882)

 

à   ICS 200: NIMS and the Incident Command System (Course ID 1005120)

 

à   Psychological First Aid Training Online Course (Course ID 1022214) or (Classroom setting)
